Benedikt Bünz is a 5th year PhD student at Stanford and head of research at Findora. His research is on using cryptography to build more secure, private, scalable and useful blockchain protocols. He is the inventor of several relevant cryptographic protocols that have been deployed in many projects. This includes Bulletproofs (which secures all Monero transactions), verifiable delay functions (used in Filecoin and Ethereum 2.0) and dark/supersonic.
